Bukayo Saka’s Heartbreak: Injury Forces Young Star Out of England Squad

Bukayo Saka has pulled out of the England squad for upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium due to an injury setback. The 22-year-old Arsenal winger has been unable to participate in training sessions since joining the international camp.

According to the Football Association, Saka arrived at St George’s Park earlier in the week with an existing injury, leading to his decision to return to Arsenal for further rehabilitation. This development is disappointing for England manager Gareth Southgate as Saka’s absence creates a challenge ahead of the matches against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley Stadium.

Following this international break, England has only two more matches scheduled – against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iceland in early June – before their Euro 2024 opener against Serbia on 16 June.
