Red Bull Team Boss Horner’s Hearing Ends Without Decision

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner underwent lengthy questioning regarding an allegation of “inappropriate behavior” at a discreet location in London.

However, any resolution before the unveiling of Red Bull’s 2024 car seems unlikely, as reports indicate the matter remains unresolved after Horner’s eight-hour interview.

The investigation stemmed from an accusation made by a female employee, which Horner has vehemently denied.

Red Bull Racing and parent company Red Bull GmbH have refrained from commenting until the investigation concludes, stating it would not be appropriate to do so.

It is speculated that the investigation may take weeks to reach a resolution.

Despite the ongoing inquiry, the team will proceed with their car launch next Thursday, likely overshadowed by the investigation.

Pre-season testing is scheduled in Bahrain from February 21-23, with the 2024 season commencing in the Gulf State on March 3.

The accusation against Horner was initially reported by Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf at the beginning of the week, involving the head of the team that secured Max Verstappen’s third consecutive world title last year.

Red Bull GmbH confirmed the launch of an independent investigation following the allegations.

Horner has led the team since their inception into Formula One 19 years ago, overseeing numerous drivers’ and constructors’ championships.

Red Bull’s dominance in the 2023 season saw them win 21 out of 22 races, with Verstappen clinching the drivers’ title.
